Which devices are supported?
The target device is iPhone 16 Pro. Route calibration generally requires a LiDAR-equipped iPhone Pro running iOS 18 or later.
Does the iPhone need a fixed mount?
No. For stable registration, keep it as steady and as close to the saved observation point as practical during measurement.
Why are there four corner indicators?
They visualise deviation from the saved camera view. Centred, steady points improve visual reconstruction of the measurement field. They are not a hard start gate.
Can measurements work with trees in the way?
Yes, if enough plausible individual vehicle positions remain visible. Brief occlusions may continue the same track, although fewer points increase uncertainty.
Where are measurements and images?
The Measurements screen preselects the most recently used route. Each entry opens a detail view with a large image and full measurement data.
Why can an estimate differ from actual speed?
Perspective, a short visible route, calibration errors, cropped vehicle boxes and unstable registration all affect the estimate. Review distance, points, inliers and confidence.
Are camera images uploaded?
No. The measurement path works locally. One evidence image is saved locally per result. Export and feedback happen only after your action.
Can the app be used for tickets or official enforcement?
No. Vmax check is not calibrated and provides technical estimates with no official or legal evidential status.
